TEETH WHITENING

If you are unhappy with the colour or self-conscious about the shade of your teeth or if you have some staining on some of your teeth, professional teeth whitening treatment is a safe and recommended option for you to consider. This gentle process lightens the natural enamel, without damage, when undertaken under the prescription of a dental professional. This process can lighten your teeth up to 10 shades in as little as 2 weeks.

How teeth whitening works

STEP 1- Arrange a whitening assessment with one of our dentists to see if it is a suitable treatment for you

STEP 2- A bespoke whitening tray is made to fit snugly over your teeth

STEP 3- Whitening gel is prescribed based on your individual needs and you are shown how to apply it

STEP 4- Take your whitening kit home and wear as directed by your dentist. This may be either for a few hours in the day or overnight depending on your personal wishes. The whitening process is gentle and occurs over a period of approximately 2 weeks wearing the trays each day/night to produce the most colour change. You can assess the colour change at home and can stop as soon as you are happy with the effect- some people whiten for the 2 weeks others may stop sooner.

STEP 5- Post whitening assessment to ensure we have reached your whitening potential and that you are happy with the results.

With all whitening treatments, individual results will vary and are based on your initial tooth colour and the nature of your tooth staining. This will be discussed in full at your whitening consultation.

HEAR FROM OUR HAPPY PATIENTS

"My first time at the practice today and really happy with the experience from start to finish. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and made you feel welcome.

I Usually suffer with nerves and anxiety about the dentist but after visiting the practice today I can safely say my fear is a thing of the past. Anyone looking for an excellent practice that may be a nervous patient look no further! Looking forward to my next appointment."
