History of the Practice
Dentistry is part of our family. We are a third generation, family run dental practice near the heart of Worcester.
The practice was founded by Mr Geoffrey Clarke in 1954 converting the family home into a dental practice. The practice has since been fully converted to now have 4 surgeries and alternative therapy rooms.
Sally-Anne, the daughter-in-Law of Geoffrey, joined the practice in 1994 and became a partner in 2008. Geoffrey’s granddaughter, Jessica, joined in 2014 as her Mother’s business partner. They are dedicated to providing exemplary care within the family ethos.
They have both been working in the private sector for a number of years and are committed to following the latest developments in dentistry. Sally-Anne and Jessica regularly attend courses together to bring back ideas and concepts so that the shrubbery dental team can provide the best treatments available.
We are family run, have a family ethos and hope patients feel like they are part of the ‘Shrubbery family’.
Many patients have been with us for a long time – some even over 60 years!
We welcome patients of all ages and needs. We strive to provide the best and most up to date care with emphasis on keeping your smile healthy and for you to feel confident, happy and relaxed that you will be treated like a member of our family.
Care Quality Commission Inspection
The CQC (Care Quality Commission) carried out an announced comprehensive inspection on 26 January 2016 to ask Shrubbery Dental Practice the following key questions: Are services safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led?
“Patients who completed CQC comment cards and those who had filled in the practices own surveys were all positive about the practice team and the care and treatment provided.”
